Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard Interview With WBIR

Two Hollywood heavies were in Knoxville for a preview of their new movie, Hit and Run.

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell talked with Erin Donovan during Live at Five at Four before the preview at the Regal Riveria.

The newly engaged couple were just in Nashville Wednesday night where Bell hosted the Country Music Television Awards. She was all the talk around social media Thursday morning, but she says she sort of “blacked out.” Dax picks it up from there, swooning over his co-star, telling us that she was all that and was so “very beautiful and rocked it.”

It was a fun interview and the room at the Oliver Hotel seemed to be captivated by the couple, who can make you sort of feel like you are not even there.

Dax actually wrote the screenplay and co-directs the film, which is brought to us by the producers of the hit movie, Wedding Crashers.

A quick synopsis of the movie: Dax’s character flees the witness protection program to help his girlfriend get to Los Angeles. While on their “little” trip, the feds and some of Dax’s characters old “friends” begin the chase.

Shepard and Bell had a great time shooting the film and they were surrounded by a bunch of friends and actually some family.

The film also stars Bradley Cooper, Kristen Chenoweth, and Tom Arnold.

It comes out in theaters August 24th and you’d better be ready. For now, the couple is off to Bonnaroo. Of course, before they left, I told them they could get married here in Knoxville.. we have a bunch of lovely places.
